Jennifer Mayer represents clients facing criminal, white collar criminal, appellate, post conviction, and traffic matters in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Ms. Mayer has extensive experience with all aspects of criminal litigation and a proven track record of obtaining favorable results for clients facing difficult and complex charges. Prior to joining Price Benowitz, Jennifer was an associate at Houlon, Berman, Bergman, Finci, Levenstein & Skok, where she practiced criminal, white collar, appellate, post conviction, traffic, and family law. Jennifer also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Louise G. Scrivener in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland.
While in law school, Jennifer received the Dean’s Award for Professional Responsibility for her representation of low-income criminal defendants in her law school’s Criminal Defense clinical program, as well as awards for her academic achievements in Legal Ethics and Criminal Defense. She also assisted clients in the Civil Practice Clinic with family and bankruptcy matters. While in law school, she served as a law clerk at the Office of the Public Defender and at a boutique white collar criminal defense firm.
Jennifer is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, District of Columbia bar, Montgomery County Bar Association, Prince George’s County Bar Association, Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Jennifer graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law and earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston University. She resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband.
